12 I will smite them with the pestilence and destroy them, and will make thee a greater nation and mightier than they.
13 But Moses said unto the Lord, (A)When the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest this people by thy power from among them)
14 Then they shall say to the inhabitants of the land, (for they have heard, that thou Lord, art among this people, and that thou, Lord, art seen [a]face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou (B)goest before them, by daytime in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.)
